The Huron Chiefs soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Charlevoix Rayders to 0 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chiefs now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Grosse Pointe North for a non-league bout on Monday, August 18. Huron will face a Norsemen team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Center Line (Center Line, MI). The Norsemen record now stands at 1-1.
The Rayders (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI). The Squires go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
