The Hopewell Vikings soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting West Allegheny Indians to 1 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.
The Vikings now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Freedom Area for a non-league bout on Monday, August 18.
With the loss, West Allegheny moves to 0-1 on the year. The Indians host Beaver (Beaver, PA) to face the Bobcats in a non-league game on Thursday, August 21. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Beaver won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Neshannock (New Castle, PA)
