Next, the Red Devils encounter the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 16. Russell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Colonels enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Barbourville (Barbourville, KY).
The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record.
