Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team prevail over the host O'Gorman Knights (Sioux Falls, SD), 5-1 in a non-league outing.
The Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Kernels go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Mitchell by Tea (Tea, SD), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Knights play the Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 19. O'Gorman will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Lynx go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Huron (Huron, SD).
