The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) and the host Altus Bulldogs (Altus, OK), observed Piedmont's softball team prevail over Altus by a tally of 10-2.
The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Bartlesville thwarted Elgin (Elgin, OK), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Noble for a non-league contest on Friday, August 22.
