In Saturday's non-league test, the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA), by a tally of 7-0.

Next, the Leopards meet the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 8 test, on Tuesday, August 19. Banks County will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA).

The Rams (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region 4 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Rockdale County was routed by Archer (Lawrenceville, GA), 15-0, in a league test.
