The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Weatherford Eagles (Weatherford, OK) and the visiting Chisholm Longhorns (Enid, OK), observed Weatherford's softball team get by Chisholm by a tally of 6-5.
The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Blanchard (Blanchard, OK). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Blanchard nudged Tuttle (Tuttle, OK), 4-1, in a non-league contest.
The Longhorns now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Edmond Santa Fe for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 16. Chisholm will face a Wolves squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Bethany (Bethany, OK). The Wolves record now stands at 1-2.
