Georgia High School Softball - Clinch County gets by Citizens Christian Academy

August 16, 2025: Douglas, GA 31534

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) and the host Citizens Christian Academy Patriots (Douglas, GA), saw Clinch County's softball squad nip Citizens Christian Academy by a score of 6-5.

With the triumph, Clinch County improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Panthers host Peach County (Fort Valley, GA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 16. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Peach County won 20-0 in their recent non-league bout against Rutland (Macon, GA)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Westfield School Hornets (Perry, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 16. Citizens Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Stratford Academy (Macon, GA).
