With the triumph, Claremore upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Zebras travel to Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK) to confront the Hornets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 2-2.

With the loss, Dewey moves to 4-1 on the season. The Bulldoggers travel to Sequoyah (Claremore, OK) to confront the Eagles in a 4A District 7 battle on Monday, August 18. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-3.
