The East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) softball routed the visiting Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA), 12-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Indians now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pike County for a non-league outing on Monday, August 18. East Coweta will encounter a Pirates team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Morgan County moves to 1-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Eastside (Covington, GA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Eastside won 15-0 in their recent league bout against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)
