The Peach County Trojans softball squad (Fort Valley, GA), was routed 8-5 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA)

With the triumph, Emanuel County Institute improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA) to face the Buccaneers in a 1A D-II Region 3 bout on Tuesday, August 19. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. McIntosh County Academy lost 12-0 in their recent league bout against Jenkins County (Millen, GA)

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 16. Peach County will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 15-0 league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA).
