Oklahoma High School Softball - Walters succumbs to Fairland

In Saturday's league test, the Fairland Owls (Fairland, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Walters Blue Devils (Walters, OK), by a margin of 9-1.
The Owls now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pawhuska for a 2A test on Monday, August 18. Fairland will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Caney Valley (Ramona, OK). The Huskies record now stands at 5-2.
The Blue Devils (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Colbert (Colbert, OK). The Leopards go into the 2A bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Colbert knocked off Wright City (Wright City, OK), 5-3, in a non-league bout.
