Georgia High School Softball - Sequoyah bounces Kennesaw Mountain

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Sequoyah Chiefs softball team scored a nice 17-4 win over the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs.
The Chiefs (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets come into the 5A Region 6 game with a 3-3 record.
The Mustangs now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lithia Springs for a 5A Region 5 match on Tuesday, August 19. Kennesaw Mountain will confront a Lions team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over South Cobb (Austell, GA). The Lions record now stands at 4-4.
