River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA), 4-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, River Ridge betters its record to 3-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to battle the Wolverines in a 5A Region 6 match on Thursday, August 21. The Wolverines come into the match with a record of 2-6.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 16. Mount Paran Christian will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Longhorns come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 10-8 league win over Cambridge (Milton, GA).
