Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA) backers left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their softball team tip the host Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA), 8-7 in a non-league match.

The Lions (2-5) will now prepare for their match against North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region 7 match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, North Gwinnett nipped Norcross (Norcross, GA), 8-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Storm confront the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 16. Providence Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Longhorns come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to South Forsyth (Cumming, GA).
