In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Plainview Indians softball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Weatherford Eagles.

The Indians (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Cache (Cache, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Cache was nipped by Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK), 6-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Blanchard Lions (Blanchard, OK) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 18. Weatherford will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Tuttle (Tuttle, OK).
