Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Wyatt Chaparrals (Fort Worth, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Alvarado improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Indians travel to North Side (Fort Worth, TX) to face the Steers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. The Steers go into the test with a record of 3-2. North Side won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX)

The Chaparrals now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carter-Riverside for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21.
