The Avon Eagles topped the visiting Jackson Polar Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Eagles face the North Ridgeville Rangers (North Ridgeville, OH) in a Southwestern game, on Tuesday, August 19. Avon will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Rangers go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Normandy (Parma, OH).

The Polar Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their game against GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Golden Eagles go into the Federal game with a 0-2 record.
