North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cornerstone Charter can't get by Ayden - Grifton

The Ayden - Grifton Chargers edged the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Chargers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. Ayden - Grifton will play a Rams team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Cornerstone Charter drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 0-1. South Iredell lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
