Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Azusa Aztecs (Azusa, CA) and the visiting Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA), observed Azusa's volleyball team top Bassett by a count of 2-0.

The Aztecs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA). The Comets go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Sacred Heart of Jesus achieved victory over Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Olympians now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a non-league battle on Monday, August 18.
