In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ball Tornadoes.

The Hurricanes (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Fort Bend Kempner went down by Heights (Houston, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Tornadoes now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Falls for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. Ball will play a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Andrew's (Austin, TX). The Knights record now stands at 7-3.
