Mississippi High School Volleyball - Purvis over Biloxi

The Purvis Tornadoes volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Biloxi Indians to 0 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tornadoes now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Our Lady Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. Purvis will confront a Crescents squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Tylertown (Tylertown, MS). The Crescents record now stands at 11-2.

The Indians (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Petal (Petal, MS). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Petal was dropped by Poplarville (Poplarville, MS), 3-1, in a non-league match.
