Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Blum Bobcats (Blum, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against BVCHEA HomeSchool (Bryan, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, BVCHEA HomeSchool was nudged by Beckville (Beckville, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats play the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Blum will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Elks go into the game with a 0-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Marcus (Flower Mound, TX).
