The Boswell Pioneers tipped the host Iowa Colony Pioneers volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Pioneers now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Granbury for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. Boswell will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Spring (Spring, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Iowa Colony drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Alvin (Alvin, TX) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 19. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 2-3. Alvin lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Brazoswood (Clute, TX)
