Georgia High School Volleyball - Calhoun Sandy Creek

Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Calhoun Yellow Jackets (Calhoun, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sandy Creek improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Patriots travel to LaFayette (LaFayette, GA) to play the Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. LaFayette lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Ringgold (Ringgold, GA)

Next, the Yellow Jackets play the White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 16. Calhoun will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA).
