The Coppell Cowboys volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Plano West Wolves to 0 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cowboys now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Duncanville for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. Coppell will play a Panthers and Pantherettes team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Plano West drops to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wolves host Prosper (Prosper, TX) to play the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, August 19. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Prosper won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX)
