The Corinth Warriors volleyball squad (Corinth, MS), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS)

The Yellowjackets (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Northeast Lauderdale notched a victory over Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 16. Corinth will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Chargers go into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS).
