Texas High School Volleyball - Corsicana tips Grand Prairie

August 16, 2025: Corsicana, TX 75110

The Corsicana Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Grand Prairie Gophers to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Maypearl for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. Corsicana will play a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Grand Prairie moves to 5-1 on the season. The Gophers host Eastern Hills (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 19. The Highlanders go into the game with a record of 0-1. Eastern Hills lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX)
