The Demons (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Vega (Vega, TX). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Vega lost by Highland Park (Amarillo, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Wills Point Tigers (Wills Point, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to The Colony (The Colony, TX).
