In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Neshoba Central Rockets volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the East Webster Wolverines.
The Rockets (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last test, South Pontotoc was defeated by Caledonia (Caledonia, MS), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pontotoc for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. East Webster will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Tupelo (Tupelo, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
