Texas High School Volleyball - Elkhart can't hold off Nacogdoches

The Nacogdoches Dragons tipped the host Elkhart Elks volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Dragons clash with the Garrison Bulldogs (Garrison, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 16. Nacogdoches will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, TX).

With the loss, Elkhart drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Frankston (Frankston, TX) to confront the Indians in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 19. The Indians enter the match with a record of 1-3. Frankston won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against West Rusk (New London, TX)
