In Saturday's non-league bout, the Klein Oak Panthers (Spring, TX) volleyball team overcame the host Episcopal Knights (Bellaire, TX), by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Dripping Springs was knocked off by Harlan (San Antonio, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manvel for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 16. Episcopal will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-3.
