In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Farmersville Farmers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the White Oak Roughnecks.
The Farmers (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, North Hopkins was tipped by White Oak (White Oak, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Roughnecks now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. White Oak will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 6-1.
