The Idalou Wildcats topped the host Friona Chieftans volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Frenship Memorial for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. Idalou will play a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Talkington School for Young Women Leaders (Lubbock, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Friona drops to 5-2 on the season. The Chieftans travel to Shallowater (Shallowater, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Monday, August 18. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 4-0. Shallowater won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX)
