The Longhorns now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brock for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 19. Garner will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Decatur (Decatur, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.

The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX). The Goats go into the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Groesbeck nudged Riesel (Riesel, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
