Texas High School Volleyball - Troy can't hold off Gateway College Preparatory

The Gateway College Preparatory Gators tipped the host Troy Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Gators confront the Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 19. Gateway College Preparatory will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX).

With the loss, Troy drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Robinson (Robinson, TX) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. The Rockets come into the match with a record of 9-2. Robinson won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX)
