Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) and the host Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX), observed Richardson's volleyball team hold off Glenn by a tally of 2-1.

The Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Cubs go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Brenham tipped Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Grizzlies now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weiss for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. Glenn will meet a Wolves team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 8-2.
