California High School Volleyball - Woodcrest Christian edged by Hemet

Hemet Bulldogs (Hemet, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Woodcrest Christian Royals (Riverside, CA), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hemet improves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Arlington (Riverside, CA) to encounter the Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. The Lions go into the test with a record of 1-1. Arlington lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against JW North (Riverside, CA)

Next, the Royals meet the San Jacinto Tigers (San Jacinto, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 19. Woodcrest Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Hillcrest (Riverside, CA).
