The Hurricane Tigers volleyball squad (Hurricane, UT), dropped 3-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT)

With the win, North Sanpete improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Hawks host Payson (Payson, UT) to encounter the Lions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Payson won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Hillcrest (Midvale, UT)

Next, the Tigers meet the Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT) in a 4A Region 9 contest, on Tuesday, August 19. Hurricane will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Flyers enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Logan (Logan, UT).
