The Fightin' Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Alto (Alto, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Alto was beaten by Riesel (Riesel, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 16. Neches will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX).
