Texas High School Volleyball - Wimberley tips Liberty Christian

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) and the visiting Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX), observed Wimberley's volleyball team hold off Liberty Christian by a count of 2-1.

The Texans (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Aubrey (Aubrey, TX). The Chaparrals enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Aubrey tipped Savio (Austin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Needville for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. Liberty Christian will encounter a Bluejays squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX). The Bluejays record now stands at 7-1.
