With the win, McMichael improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Phoenix host Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to encounter the Nighthawks in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 19. The Nighthawks enter the contest with a record of 3-0. Northern Guilford won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC)

The Spartans now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crest for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. Sun Valley will face a Chargers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 0-2.
