The Northwest Texans edged the host Stony Point Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Texans confront the Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 16. Northwest will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Dragons go into the game with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Weiss (Pflugerville, TX).
The Tigers (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Randall nudged Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
