The Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) volleyball held off the host Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 16. Pearce will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Garland (Garland, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-0.
Next, the Mustangs battle the Lakeview Centennial Patriots (Garland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 battle, on Tuesday, August 19. Sachse will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rowlett (Rowlett, TX).
