In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Saltillo Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the West Lowndes Panthers.
The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS). The Conquistadors enter the Class 6A Region 1 game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Olive Branch gained a win over Grenada (Grenada, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS). The Warriors come into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Nanih Waiya was topped by Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
