Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) and the visiting Seminole Chieftains (Seminole, OK), observed Sequoyah's volleyball team top Seminole by a count of 2-0.

The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Berryhill (Tulsa, OK). The Chiefs enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Berryhill achieved victory over Skiatook (Skiatook, OK), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Chieftains now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chouteau-Mazie for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 16. Seminole will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Okay (Okay, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
