Woodson Cowboys (Woodson, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Wichita Christian Stars (Wichita Falls, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cowboys (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Newcastle (Newcastle, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Stars meet the Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. Wichita Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, TX).
