The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) and the visiting West Trojans (West, TX), saw Alvarado's volleyball squad nip West by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Alvarado upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Indians host Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 24. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Rio Vista lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Clifton (Clifton, TX)
The Trojans now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Springtown for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 19. West will play a Porcupines squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Blum (Blum, TX). The Porcupines record now stands at 5-4.
