Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shiloh for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 22. Duluth will battle a Generals squad coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Generals record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, North Springs falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA) to battle the Cougars in a 5A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, August 18. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Chattahoochee lost 11-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA)
