The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) and the host East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA), saw Northside's softball squad achieve victory over East Coweta by a count of 13-2.

The Patriots now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harris County for a 5A Region 3 match on Tuesday, August 23. Northside will face a Tigers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Central (Carrollton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, East Coweta falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, August 19. The Lions enter the match with a record of 4-0. Trinity Christian won 8-7 in their recent league match against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)
